We’re thrilled to share that Little Stories Nursery has been rated Good following its latest Ofsted inspection on 27 March 2025 – and we couldn’t be prouder of our wonderful team.
This result reflects the passion, dedication and care that go into every single day at Little Stories. The report praised the kindness and attentiveness of our staff, the strong bonds they build with children, and the vibrant, welcoming environment they’ve created.
What Ofsted Said
The inspectors’ report highlights what makes Little Stories such a special place for children to learn and grow:
- “Staff are kind and attentive and build strong bonds with children. They greet children warmly as they arrive at this vibrant and welcoming nursery.”
- “Babies are relaxed and content with the staff, who know them well.”
- “Children behave well. They are kind to each other and inclusive in their play.”
- “Leaders are clear about what they want children to learn. They have devised a curriculum that covers all areas of learning, takes account of children’s interests and builds on what they already know. Consequently, children make good progress from their starting points.”
- “Partnerships with parents are strong. Parents comment on how much their children enjoy attending and the good progress they make.”
A Word from Our Leaders
Karine Baizon, Nursery Manager at Little Stories, shared:
“I’m incredibly proud to share that we have achieved a Good rating in our recent Ofsted inspection. This result is a testament to the passion, dedication, and teamwork that our staff demonstrate every single day.
The report highlighted the quality of our educational provision, where children are actively engaged, curious, and making great progress in their learning. Our caring and nurturing environment ensures that every child feels safe, valued, and supported, which is at the heart of everything we do.
We’re also especially pleased that our communication with families was recognised – we truly value our partnership with parents and carers, and remain committed to working closely together to give every child the very best start.”
Gary Jeffries, Operations Director of The Little Nurseries Group, added:
“Seeing Little Stories achieve a Good rating is such a proud moment – and a well-earned recognition of the dedication, care, and high standards the team deliver every single day.
The inspection highlighted the quality of education, where children are engaged in meaningful learning and supported to make strong progress. It also praised the warm, nurturing environment our team has created – one where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to thrive.
Importantly, the report recognised the strength of our communication with families, which we believe is essential to a child’s success. This outcome reflects the passion and professionalism of our staff, and I look forward to supporting the nursery as it continues to grow from strength to strength.”
What Parents Are Saying
Ofsted weren’t the only ones with glowing feedback. Parents have been equally enthusiastic about Little Stories and the team who make it so special:
“Cannot praise the staff enough! Louie has autism and all preschool staff are amazing with him – kind, patient and caring. We have seen so much progression with Louie recently. Rachel has been incredible and instrumental in Louie getting his EHCP and the right setting for primary school. I also have a younger son in twos and the staff there are just as brilliant.”
“The twos room at Little Stories have been exceptional. My daughter loves being there and I feel so safe and happy knowing she is there.”
“I’d like to recognise all staff members at the nursery for their work and care. As a parent it’s very reassuring to walk through on drop off and pick up and see how involved all staff members are. I see everyone as good role models to the children. I feel like my daughter is part of a friendly community and she is thriving.”
“My child has grown so much in confidence and that’s down to the work that her key worker puts into her daily activities. My child is always happy at pick up and I feel that being in this setting has had a really positive impact on her for her future development.”
“Ronnie and Rosie have loved their time at Little Stories. Grace has really helped Rosie to settle in babies and Adele has really helped Ronnie to settle in pre school. When we sought advice, Rachel gave us some brilliant tips for supporting Ronnie’s talking.”
“Everything is amazing! Staff are lovely and welcoming and care deeply about the kids. Communication is excellent. Would highly recommend to all parents.”
