Little Robins Nursery Celebrates Good Ofsted Rating at Both Sites

We’re delighted to share that both Little Robins Nursery sites have been awarded a ‘Good’ rating following their Ofsted inspections in May 2024.

Inspectors praised the nurseries for their clear, well-designed curriculum, noting how staff “plan activities that capture children’s interest and attention” and how children “display a positive attitude to learning.” From yoga and dance to Spanish lessons and football, children enjoy a wealth of extra activities that make every day engaging and enriching.

The report also highlighted the close partnerships with parents. Families are kept informed through regular updates, curriculum information and parent meetings, ensuring children’s learning continues seamlessly between nursery and home.

Jo Hanon, Nursery Manager, shared her reflections:
“We are incredibly proud to have received such a positive Ofsted grade, which reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team. Our staff consistently demonstrate professionalism, warmth, and expertise, creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. A big thank you to our children who did fantastic on the day and made us all proud, and to our parents for their feedback and continued support in making Little Robins the best it can be.”

Gary Jeffries, Operations Director of Little Nurseries, added:
“The recent inspection highlighted the nursery group’s dedicated and highly skilled staff, who create a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. The inspectors praised the well-rounded curriculum, which inspires curiosity, fosters development, and balances academic learning with creative and physical activities. We are thrilled with this excellent rating. It recognises the passion and commitment of our staff and the vibrant, supportive environment we provide. We remain committed to nurturing every child’s potential and working closely with families to give children the best possible start in life.”

Parents have also shared their heartfelt thanks:

“Very pleased with the staff – I can see my child enjoys coming to nursery and has settled really well.”

Another parent said:
“The fact that staff has retained from many years ago shows what a wonderful nursery it is. Definitely getting a family vibe when seeing the key workers. I feel safe and content when leaving my child.”

This dual Good rating is a true testament to the Little Robins team’s hard work and the warm, consistent care they provide across both sites.

Congratulations to Jo and her team – this achievement is so well deserved.
