We are absolutely thrilled to share that Little Memories Nursery has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted – the highest grade possible – following an inspection on 19 December 2022.
The report highlighted the nursery’s “ambitious and carefully planned curriculum,” exceptional teaching, and the strong, trusting relationships built between children and staff. Inspectors praised the way staff “strive for the best outcomes for all children” and hold “the highest expectations,” ensuring every child – including those with special educational needs – thrives in their care.
Children’s behaviour was described as “exemplary,” with kindness, courtesy and respect shining through every interaction. Ofsted also noted how staff “use every opportunity to teach,” leaving children “fully engaged” in meaningful activities that spark curiosity, problem-solving skills and a love of learning.
Annette Ellis, Nursery Manager, shared her pride in her team:
“I felt extremely proud of my team – they always give 100% in everything they do, going above and beyond for the children in their care. Our team were over the moon to be recognised, and felt they had the opportunity to showcase all of their hard work. Being outstanding as a team is what we strive for, and we continue to improve and only want the best for everyone that comes through our doors.”
