Little Sunflowers Day Nursery Pre-school setting has been officially recognised for its exceptional early years provision following a recent Ofsted inspection, achieving an overall Good rating with Outstanding in two key areas.
The report is filled with praise for the nursery’s nurturing ethos, high standards, and the strength of relationships across the setting. Inspectors noted that:
“Children are exceptionally well settled and display a strong sense of belonging.”
“Children’s behaviour is excellent. Their manners are exemplary. This fosters a cooperative and respectful atmosphere.”
“Children show high levels of motivation and eagerness to engage… demonstrating a genuine enthusiasm and excitement for learning.”
Leadership was also highlighted as a strength, with the inspector commending the team’s child-centred curriculum, clear educational aims, and unwavering commitment to staff development. The nursery’s strong parent partnerships and inclusive approach to supporting children with SEND were described as key contributors to its success.
